1948 Kolin Championship Baseball

Dale was a good left handed pitcher for the Kolin team and young at 19 years old . It did take the 'old timers' to help get through the long tournameny. When Dale was not pitching he played the outfield. Apparently Jim Krall was gone on a fishing trip to the Dillion area when the tournament started. After pulling the upset in the first game, they were able to locate him and he made it back to pitch some good baseball in the finial two games of the tournament championship.
